SAVING LITTLE HEARTS, CHANGING LITTLE LIVES

The Pure Little Hearts Foundation is a noble and virtuous initiative that seeks to aid young hearts that are unable to access life-saving treatments due to financial constraints. It endeavours to bridge the gap between these ailing little hearts with congenital conditions and the helping hands that can lift them up. The core aim of this foundation is to cater to the healthcare needs of children who require cardiac intervention and procedures to improve their quality of life. In India, the incidence of congenital heart disease is staggeringly high, with 10 out of every 1000 births being affected by this problem. This implies that more than 200,000 children in India are born every year with congenital heart disease, out of which a significant proportion are likely to have a serious birth defect, necessitating medical intervention within the first year of their life. The successful treatment of such conditions mandates the involvement of skilled clinicians, paramedics, state-of-the-art equipment, and expensive medications. Thus, providing quality care needs sufficient funding. In light of this, the mission of the Pure Little Hearts Foundation is to extend quality treatment to every child in need, ensuring that even those who cannot afford life-altering medical intervention are not left behind.
